Confidential reporting of the misuse of specialist status


Members may now report concerns about the misuse of the term specialist or claims that a veterinary surgeon ‘specializes‘ in a subject using our online reporting platform. Simply login to the website below and follow this link to enter the relevant information in 10 simply questions.

Once you submit the information we will report this confidentially to the RCVS on your behalf. You will be forwarded a copy of the response from the college.
VSA will monitor the number of concerns raised, the nature of the response from the RCVS and how many false claims are removed.
Other concerns can also be collected, including individuals claiming to be board eligible, but those concerns will be sent to the relevant college.
