Clinical Profile

My career has been focussed on the clinical speciality of Emergency and Critical Care Medicine initially working within the ECC service at the Royal Veterinary College and since 2008 at Vets Now. As Clinical Director of Vets Now I have responsibility for the clinical standards and training at over 50 OOH emergency sites and 3 emergency and speciality hospitals which can be accessed across the UK. I also lecture widely both nationally and internationally and have written a number of peer reviewed papers and book chapters including being Editor of the BSAVA Manual of Small Animal ECC

Research

My research interests are predominantly in the area of fluid therapy, transfusion medicine and HAI and latterly use of the evidence base to improve patient care and safety.
