She completed a residency at Murdoch University in Australia, becoming a Diplomat of the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. She completed a Masters in canine respiratory disease and has published on different aspects of small animal internal medicine. After working in university and private specialist referral practice in Australia, she moved to the UK to continue specialist referral practice where she has worked since 2016. Amanda is a Fellow and recognised specialist of the RCVS. She loves all aspects of internal small animal medicine, and enjoys the challenge of finding answers and the right management for each individual patient. Every patient has their own journey, and there is no ‘cookbook’ for every pet, and Amanda embraces the challenge of working with an owner to find what is right for their pet. Amanda is committed to her profession and advancing veterinary science through studies, continual professional development and supporting her professional organisations to ensure the community receives the advantages of progressive veterinary science and care. She also contributes to the community through ‘search and rescue’ of missing persons
