Clinical Profile

I have been working in companion animal practice for 30 years. I studied for the RCVS Diploma in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging for 6 years whilst working as a general practitioner. At the same time I studied for and passed the International Veterinary Ultrasound Society Certificate in Small Animal Ultrasound. I was recognised by the RCVS as a Specialist in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging in 2012. I have been working with veterinary surgeons in the South East of England to bring referral standard imaging to their patients since 2010. I have a particular interest in ultrasound, CT and radiography. I have performed ultrasound scans on over 4000 patients since 2010. I work at NDSR, which is a multi-disciplinary hospital and offer an out-patient ultrasound and CT service at New Priory Vets in Brighton. I also offer a mobile ultrasound service to practices near Brighton so that patients can be scanned in the familiar environment of their own practice. Radiographs and CT studies can be reported by teleradiology. I participate in the continuing professional development of veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses by presenting at meetings, through journal articles and on-line courses. I have lectured on diagnostic imaging to veterinary students at Surrey University.
