Director Rainbow Equine Hospital. FEI veterinary Delegate (Eventing)
Graduated from Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in 2000 before pursuing an internship at San Luis Rey Equine Hospital in California. Then following 3 years of ambulatory equine practice at the Rainbow Equine Hospital, I headed back to the States to complete a Large Animal Fellowship at Oregon State Veterinary Teaching Hospital followed by an Equine Surgical Residency at the University of Davis Veterinary Hospital, California. Following completion of the residency I remained as a staff surgeon for 18 month during which time I completed my surgical board exams and achieved diplomate status in 2009. I returned to the Rainbow Equine Hospital to join the surgical team. I spend my day investigating poor performance in horses, advanced lameness cases and doing elective orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery. Over the years I have developed a specific focus on the use of computed tomography for diagnosis and surgical planning of lower limb and cervical disorders and have a surgical interest cervical arthrodesis for management of equine degenerative myelopathy. In addition I am an FEI veterinary Delegate for eventing and regularly officiate at Events in the UK.
