Current Post:

Head of Soft Tissue Surgery, Eastcott Referrals

All of England, All of UK, South West

Clinical Profile

I qualified from Cambridge in 2001 and then obtained the RCVS certificate in small animal surgery in 2006 followed by the RCVS diploma in small animal soft tissue surgery (DSAS-ST) in 2012 which is widely regarded as the highest level of specialisation within this field. I currently write and review articles for multiple veterinary journals, am a current examiner for the RCVS certificate in small animal surgery and regularly lecture and train veterinary surgeons. I currently lead the soft tissue surgical team at Eastcott Referrals which is a small but rapidly expanding, independent multi-disciplinary referral centre that has evolved from a very busy and successful first opinion veterinary practice. We believe that our roots in general practice allow us to have a unique level of empathy and understanding both with our referral clients and our referring vets. We pride ourselves in maintaining exceptional levels of care and understanding and will do our utmost to communicate effectively with you from the time of booking your first appointment through to eventual discharge back into the care of your primary veterinary practice.

I regularly publish clinical case reports/series and am currently involved with research into various aspects of minimally invasive (keyhole) surgery and congenital chest deformities in cats.
