Clinical Profile

Vicky graduated from Cambridge University Veterinary School in 1996 and undertook a Small Animal Internship at the RVC. After a period working in small animal practice in Surrey she completed a Small Animal Surgery Clinical Training Scholarship at the RVC, achieving the RCVS Certificate in Small Animal Surgery in 2000 and the European Diploma in Small Animal Surgery in 2002. Following a period in private referral practice Vicky returned to the RVC as a Lecturer in Small Animal Surgery in March 2003 where she is now Professor, Head of Small Animal Surgery and Clinical Director of the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals.

Research

Clinical research interests extend to all aspects of surgery tissue surgery, especially the treatment of congenital portosystemic shunts (CPSS). For an up to date list of Vicky's publications, please see the link above.
